Middle East: Land, Resources, Economics

This lesson begins by asking students to compare and contrast different geographical features on a topographical map of the Middle East. Students will work in small groups to research the geographical features, natural resources, and demographic makeup of a country in the region. As a class, students will share information in a graphic organizer and draw comparisons across the region, paying attention to connections between natural resources and economics.
